you think you do, but you really don't.
you haven't seen a fight untill you've seen two people going out argue over wow loot.

That's why you pick different classes.

oh they were.

when your an officer apparently your supposed to ignore dkp to give loot to your SO.

Well that's lame. I'm an officer (yes, I'm that cool) and I give no preferential treatment to anyone. Ignoring DKP for a SO is an easy way for a lot of people to get pissed off at you. Depends on what you're more afraid of: the entire guild getting pissed off or the SO getting pissed off.

Edit: Or pick a different guild. Problem solved.

I'll probably just take her to disneyland the weekend before. she's flying to Australia to visit family on V-day

I took the week off, and will be painting and installing baseboards for three rooms that week in preparation for the little one on the way. Got to get this stuff out of the way before that happens late summer 🙂

Given that I just spent a few thousand dollars on her engagement ring, I don't think I will be getting her anything

haha, if i said that my arse would be in for it.

I'm taking mine to Disneyland, although it will most likely crowded as hell

Actually I take that back, she just msg'ed me and said she found something she really likes and wants me to get it for her for V-day... so I guess I'm buying that (I still don't have any idea what it is)

Probably a new graphics card for her. She desires a gaming rig, thus I shall assist her with parts.

that is the most unromantic thing i've ever heard.

Yeah, but just think of all of the high definition p0rn they can watch now?

i'd take that, but that won't happen. 🙁

we will go out to dinner and i will make some motlen volcano cakes and choco dipped strawberries but we will not buy somthing for each other.

Instead, we are giving each other an anniversary trip back to where we got married last year including first class tix there.
Its better than having to think of just crap to buy.

you are always somewhere nice, it makes me sad 🙁

Every year my GF and I agree on two things for Valentines day. #1 cards cannot be bought, thus we make them ourselves out of construction paper and such. (what a blast) #2 we each cook Valentines dinner for each other. i.e. she will make the first and second course and I will make the main course and the dessert. The next year it will be reversed.

I like your ideas. Be sure to draw a hallmark logo on the back for when she checks 🙂

Heh, umm...I had something special planned. Then my SO left me, sort of. Not the point, continue on ATOTers.

Make sure it's not sonz70.

What a nice thread to get ideas, not just for V-day, but for any special occasion for that matter. For this year....well actually every V-day, we always decide to make the presents (kinda like Monica and Chandler in Friends) So here's my idea:

-well my girlie is the arts/craft type so i figure i will delve into the world of scrapbooking. So for v-day, im just gonna make 1 scrapbook page since it'll be hard enough for me to come up with an idea and all. Oh ya and i'll write a poem and include it in the page.
