very weird stuff. I have a UV light, that has a bracket that connects to a PCI slot. This is a brand new PC, i just built it last night. Anyways, whenever I switch the switch at the back to turn the UV lights on/off, the motherboard usually either resets, turns off or goes to a black screen. Occasionally it then hangs when i turn it on, i got a 'cpu failer due to overclocking' as well just before, but generally will work once again. This is really weird since it is not connected to the motherboard at all!! just the power supply

I have actually now taken the bracket and the UV lights out of the PC all together. They are not touching any components and the only thing connected is the UV light to the Power supply. It now is not restarting or anything, its just as soon as i flick the switch to turn on the UV lights, it just freezes at the exact moment. My Power supply is a SilenX
