I'm In the process of building a system and would like some lighting mods to take advantage of the side window on the case. Don't want a lightshow while I'm trying to sleep, so probably going to avoid the LED fans and go the UV Reactive route for cables, fans, DIMM/PCI slot covers instead. I've heard some horror stories about (low quality?) CCFL tubes/invertors blowing and taking various components with them so I don't think I'll be getting those..

I've seen these in stores and on the Antec site, but has anyone seen them up and running or own one? The case I'll be using is an Antec Plus View 1080 AMG, so space likely won't be an issue. Is 1 sufficient for decent lighting or do you need to go with 2?

Whoops ~ just to clarify, light itself doesn't have to be that bright, just sufficient to evenly light up anything UV reactive (cables, fan housing & blades, slot covers, etc) to glow brightly enough.

thx for the info though!
