I've had something similar, I guess...If I don't trim my fingernails right, sometimes the nail starts growing into the skin on the side of the nail. That in turn swells up with pus. If I touch it, it hurs and I can feel it moving under my skin. Pretty gross.

I had one of those once. Had it for 10 years until I said fsck this, I'm popping it.
Punctured it with a needle and aqueezed it. White stuff shot on the mirror LOL. Good stuff.
