real-debrid if I have to resort to torrents. Let them download it first, and I'll get it at 10mB/s when its done.

Quit torrents about a year ago when enforcement changed, Demonoid, etc. went down. I use newsbin pro and usenet.

rtorrent. Not very pretty to fine tune, but once setup it's quite convenient.
Plus, there's a web interface for Android, if you care to set it up.

I currently use:
uTorrent 1.8.2
Vuze 4.8.0.0

reason for these specific versions is that my favourite tracker has strict rules about allowed/banned clients.

That's how they all start! :colbert:

It's libre. If they get ads(highly unlikely), remove them. If you don't have the knowledge to, someone else does, and will. Libre software usually won't sell you out because people can look. Proprietary software? Good luck...

^^^This

It's libre software with no bundled adware or other crap.

Yup. I don't really use torrents anymore but if I did it would be this. Last I checked utorrent went to complete shit once they tried to monetize it..

Why qBT over Transmission?

I prefer the interface. It's similar to uTorrent. One useless feature I really like is seeing the country flags of the peers. It's interesting seeing where everyone is coming from.

Me either, I primarily use Usenet for stuff. But, there are certain things that torrents are good for.

So, I got a seedbox. Its a bit pricey at $25/m but for that price I can do whatever I want.

I don't do movies and stuff. Its mostly IT stuff, I am part of a private community and I make sure to keep my ratios up.
