utility to check mobo working?

is there a utility to find out if the mobo is working at its fullest ability?

recently i had to push on the mobo really hard to get it out of the socket! i wonder if i cracked or kill any connections on the board.

What kind of mobo is it? For the new mobos, the companies usually add this type of software with it. Try checking your mobo's website to see if they have any downloadable software for your mobo.
