OK, so I'm cleaning my office and down at about the fourth strata of sediment I find a HP "System Recovery" pack of 3 CD's for an "HP Pavilion Home PC" that I had a few years back. The discs are labeled "System Recovery Disc 1 of 3 WMe", "System Recovery Disc 2 of 3 WMe", and "Application Recovery Disc 3 of 3".

So I'm guessing theres a copy of Windows Millennium in there and some other stuff and I decide to pitch it, but then I think maybe I can use it for some kind of upgrade or something.

Does it have any value other than for coasters or skeet shooting?

I'm sure you could find some incredible AOL dialup craplets on them.

For a more serious reply... I always save those old disks, you never know when you can use one to help get somebody out of a jam. They don't take up much room, and you may end up meeting someone that lost their HP Me recovery disks and needs to do a reinstall.
