Well, the problem is this: I double-click the .exe or shortcut, splash screen appears and disappears after several seconds, then nothing. Not even an error message. There are no logs in the game's folder
While the splash screen is there, the hard drive is loading stuff and there's noticeable CPU usage from the .exe according to task manager. Afterwards, the process is gone and nothing else happens.
Things I've tried:
- restarting
- uninstalling/reinstalling
- installing in default folder
- downloading installer from other mirrors
Not sure what else to do. My specs are Q6600, 2GB, 7600GT, XP Home SP2, with latest drivers. My other games work fine.
Any ideas?
edit: there's actually a log, but I don't see any errors other than the fact it's cut off at the end
