UT2k4 - I hear footsteps!

Is it just me or do you hear footsteps when in a Goliath or Raptor, moving or not?

yeah .. I heard that too ... it is the background music .. drives me batty

I have the background music off. I hear footsteps when I'm running (of course) but not when I'm standing still. The footsteps are most prominent in the Goliath, even when sitting still.

beatle's room mates or family members are getting a good laugh... sitting behind him on the floor tapping shoes on the floor and cracking up as beatle exclaims, "There's those damn foot steps again!"

Haha, stranger things have happened. When I lived in a dorm, I was playing Quake and my neighbor said "hey, say 'hi' to Armageddon" (handle of a guy we frequently see on servers) Without looking I said, "He's not on this server. My neighbor then said "SAY HI!" I yelled back "I TOLD YOU HE'S NOT HERE!" When I looked, Armageddon was there in my doorway laughing - he lived in another dorm and had found out where I lived.
