UT2K4 - how do you execute an airstrike?

First of all, I have to say that I am blown away by UT2K4. I haven't even played anything but Onslaught and I am completely hooked. Other than the random 'tard chatter, the game is perfect.

One question...how do you do the airstrikes? Where is the vehicle? What maps have them? Thanks!
 
you have to use the "Target Painter" gun. it looks different than the ION painter gun. but works the same. just hold down the laser on the target you want bombed. But watch out its a carpet bombing and i have blown myself up manytimes. so when the bomber is dropping its bombs. run!

**edit. you cant fly the bomber. its just a airstrike. wish i could fly it and have lots of fun 😀
 
you need to get the target painter gun, which is available in about half of the onslaught maps. then just pick where you want to focus the attack, and then paint the target for ~ 5 seconds. You'll hear the audio alert about an airstrike if you do it successfully
