i don't remember assault being this fun. i like it better than onslaught! of course, i'm better at assault than onslaught, which may have something to do with it, but still!

Oh good god, it's awesome. I loved assault in the original UT the most, it was my favorite gametime. UT2k3 put in bombing run, which became my favorite for that one. But UT2k4 seemed to revive assault by putting in more goodies (the turrets and alternate spawn location waypoint, etc). After ONS-Torlan got old in the demo, I started playing Assault servers exclusively.

Oh... and one other thing that makes assault so attractive in UT2k4... they brought back the original sniper rifle!!! 😀
