Wondering if anyone understands or has a fix for the following problem.
I have a server running behind my firewall. The firewall is set to forward port 7777 to the internal machine. Users are able to join the server without any problems.
The WebAdmin feature is running fine and I can access it using the server's internal IP from any machine on the local LAN. I'd like to give my buddies on access to it from outside the firewall so I put in a similar port-forwarding rule for the WebAdmin (forward port XXXX to internal IP, just like for the game port). However, no one seems able to access the WebAdmin from outside. I'ved tried UDP and TCP and no success.
BTW, running IPTABLES on RedHat 7.3 with most recent kernel (2.4.10-18, I think).
Anyone have any ideas on what might be happening and how to fix it? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
