I just downloaded the demo and I'd say it's really fun. Probably the most fun game I've played in a long time.

I'm not such a fan of the FPS games (esp. the the gory/scary ones like doom 🙂), I like this cause it's more like a tactic game I guess. Is this kinda what CS and Halo are like? (I've never played them)

I think I might actually buy this game which says a lot because I've never bought a FPS before.

Yes, it's basically what CS/UT/Halo are like.

Halo did great with the vehicles first... UT2k4 seems to have made it better... especially because the ONS mode is well put together and balanced.

No, My computers fine. I just have a driver issue or somthing. MOHAA run lke light speed on it.

i was impressed by the game called FAR CRY a week ago 🙂

it runs relatively well on my computer with amazing scenery.

If CS was made with that engine, the gameplay will be totally different.

so much trees, shrubs etc. etc. vehicles..
 
Its nice, but I hope they optimize it some more. I can run UT2k3 on highest settings and get 100+ FPS, but in 2K4 I get ~60 on lowest (and it varies down to about 30 in some places on some maps).

I also hope they made some changes with modding in mind. I _REALLY_ hate how the maps for all the mods you have go into the single map folder, and all the system files for all the mods go into the system folder etc. I much prefer the id/valve way of putting mods in their own folder so things stay more organized and are easier to remove.
