UT2004 gameplay?

Is it just crazy run and gun online or is there any strategy and teamwork incorporated to help a victory?

Whats gameplay like, and is it worth getting?

I havent had a chance to play the demo, and im sure a few people here have.

Is it run and gun? Yes, in many respects... you'd best aim though eh? Teamwork, oh yeah... Onslaught, Assault, CTF... Bombing run... oh yeah!
Get the demo and try it though... it may not be your cup of tea... always check the demos ...

Follow the link below and you'll get an idea of how we try and promote teamwork... it's a very long thread and some of the funniest stuff I've seen. You need to know the game a bit to 'get it'... but you'll figure it out........ happy trails.

I've been playing a lot of Onslaught and it's pretty cool. You really need team work to win that game play mode.

The vehicle aspect I am a little 50/50 on, they add another dimension to the game but they also seem to skew the balance.

Balance? Yeah dont get caught Naked! the game kicks but team play is definitely encouraged vehicles are kewl all i play is Onslaught.

There are different play modes like Assault, Onslaught, CTF, Deathmatch, etc. Basically, you need to fire up the demo and give it a try. It's due for release in a couple of weeks so the sooner you can get on the better......as the server populations for the demo will dry up. Great graphics (even with the demo which doesn't include full textures) and a pretty furious pace, especially in Deathmatch.
