I'm going to do a fresh install of UT2004. What files do I need to transfer over so that I can keep my single player saved game position?

XXX\UT2004\Saves I would guess.
Copy over your user.ini from the Systems folder too if you want to retain your controls/character etc, and UT2004.ini if you want to retain graphics/audio/etc setup.

why reinstall?

I just did a fresh install of XP on my new rig.

Edit: That reminds me, I have to update my sig ;)

What I do is back up my whole UT2k4 folder, reinstall Ut2k4 to get the registry updated, delete the new folder, then restore my old one. That way I get all of my server maps back, as well as game settings and things.

I dont know how I over looked the "\UT2004\Saves" folder... Copying that one over did the trick.

Thanks/

what i do is i simply save the entire folder...esp since it has the maps downloaded.
all you have to do is reinstall the game so all the registry settings are there and stuff. sadly you can't just run the exe from the directory straight off like say starcraft or q3a. after reinstall of ut2004 just copy over the old folder right over the new one. works fine.
