UT2003(demo) not working with DX9,can someone help?

after i installed dx9 ut2003 stoped working(erorr message : failed to initialize properly(0xc0000142)).
i have GF4Ti4200(driver:41.80) is it a problem with dx9 or is it something else, i also have problem with BF1942.
please help.
