UT GOTY, frustrating things please help..

🙁 Knock, knock!!!! Hi , I knew here and I love the site. My problem with UT is this GOTY game. I 'been playing UT in the linux and Mac in my office and I just build my Duron 2 week ago. I d/w Quake III without problem same UT 428v. But this new cd is weird, the installer stops in texture/trenches/utx and I try 10 times. The Error mesagge is dirt Cd media, but is right out of the box. I working hard to make it work because the Unreal Editor do not with 428v. I thought to upgrade to 436v? I need Opinions please...

Have you tried copying all of the files to your hard disk and installing from there? As far as I know there's no CD check with UT GOTY. If that won't work, try to copy the CD and install from the copy. If it still doesn't work, you've got every right to go to the store and claim another copy of the game.
