UT and det 21.88 and up

is anyone running UT on a kt266a board with a gf3 and having a slight screen freeze with detanator drivers ...seems to be only the det 21.88 and up....if i run 21.81 .83 or 85 the problem isnt there....its very slight....screen just freezes for a second every so often...but doesnt crash or anything...just annoying

This sounds very similar to a problem I once had ages ago on a machine running a TNT2.
I eventually fixed it by installing a different (the correct one in this case) mouse driver on the machine. Obviously as the mouse moved the driver would have some hang-up somewhere and pause the computer momentarily.

Sounds like a long-shot, but it is worth checking that your mouse/trackball is set correctly as well as any other drivers.

well yeah that sounds like a potential issue for sure...but i ahve the latest driver loaded for my mouse...its a razer boomslang btw...i should uninstall adn reinstall the older driver to see if it gets rid of the problem

I'm running a Ti500 with the 2250 drivers on a KT133a board and UT is as smooth as butter at 1152 x 864 with full detail levels. Try the newest 2288 drivers.
