USR Sportster Flash X2 Upgrade????

Hi, I've spent days looking for the X2 upgrade for my a sportster flash external modem and can only find the V.90 upgrade for download. Does anyone have the original X2 upgrade program for this modem.

I have a Sportster, and no idea if it is upgraded, but most of all , can you tell me what this X2 tech is supposed to do for us? Haven't checked on 3Com lately because modem seems to work so well. Would X2 make it better?
