USR Sportster 56k ISA only connects at 28800... please help!!

Hi, I just bought a USR Modem 56k ISA from someone in this forum and I don't know why it's only connecting at 28800 Max. I already query the modem and it detects as 56k modem. Does anybody know what's going on with this cause I have the USR Modem ISA Sportster also and it always connects at 50600. So please help me solve this problem cause I know USR is the best modem out there. Thanks

Check your Modem properites box found in device manager. There is a max. modem speed box there. Make sure it not set to only 28.8k.
