USPS woes... has this happened to you before?

Well, I posted a few days ago about a possible lost package... and now it miraculously was "delivered" (two weeks later) according to USPS, but I haven't seen the package.

Here's what the DC# returns...

Your item was delivered at 8:09 am on September 10, 2003 in BERKELEY, CA 94720.

What the heck does that mean??? Apparently "delivered" doesn't mean to my door... ugh.
It's disturbing how USPS considers 3 days as 2 weeks.

Call them and raise hell!

USPS delivery confirmation is useless. I'm not sure where exactly it has to get to in order to be "delivered" but the mail man certainly doesn't scan it as he's putting it in your box like UPS does.
