I like the fact that if I have to go to pick up the package because they keep missing me, the USPS office is always close (back where I grew up, it was 4 blocks away, and where I live now, it's only 2). UPS and Fedex have always been a long ways away. In my current situation, the UPS office is 17 miles away, and I'd have to cross a state border to get to the Fedex one!

UPS: Either a day late (and delivered at 8pm), or delivered at 8pm the night it's due.
FedEx: Usually a day early, if not, the morning it's due.
USPS: No problems, usually quick; Sent a package Saturday at noon, arrived at destination Monday morning.
DHL: I don't use them.

I like FedEx and USPS.

USPS for me, Priority although not guaranteed always arrives in 3 days, 2 days isn't so uncommon either. Their tracking sucks though.

Fedex is probably better for big items. I used to use Express Saver(I think thats what it is called) and it rocked, 2-3 days. Good tracking system.

Although I never really had any problems with UPS, I guess I get a bad feeling about them because of all the stories i've heard.

Never dealed with DHL.

What most people fail to realize is that USPS doesn't offer package tracking. It is called delivery confirmation for a reason. All it proves is that the package was shipped and then delivered. Of course I am with the majority and wish they would offer package tracking like UPS/FedEx. Then there would be no doubt that USPS would be the best to use for most of my shipping needs.

I use UPS for everything else. I've never had a problem with them. Most of the time it is just plain UPS Ground. FedEx has pissed me off in the past so I don't care to use them but I will if the buyer requests it.

DHL needs to die off. Horrible experiences with them.

UPS sucks for small packages. It cost me $14 to ship something with UPS that would have cost $3 with UPS

Fixed. I ment that it cost $3 with USPS.

for large heavy ground packages, go with DHL. fedex ground used to be good, but they raised their prices too much

$14 is what you get for everything computerized, tracking, insurance, logistics, etc.

USPS is still manual and bunny hops on Fedex and UPS
