USPS Sortation Center

Is this normal? I leave for school again on the 8th and it really doesn't look like I'm going to get my package anytime before then.

san pablo is fairly close to me (i live in the east bay)

It probably fell off the conveyor belt or something.

Call up the place (if you can) and ask. Otherwise, call up your post office.

standard shipping (it was an american eagle order)

the weirdest part is that AE has provided me with two USPS tracking #'s, and through AE's magical tracking system I have been able to see my packages going through sortation centers and whatnot, but neither of the tracking #'s appear in the USPS database. I know the #'s are USPS tracking #'s as well, the # length and all that stuff matches up perfectly

and I couldn't seem to find any way of reaching a live customer service rep at the postal service's customer support #'s, so I'm just confused

sigh... i'm an idiot. all i had to do was look at the URL provided by AE to realize that they're using fedex smart post

yeah everytime i search for sortation center i get a bunch of people laughing at the word... but alas, i guess the shipping companies can create their own words
