USPS says they delivered, but I don't have it...

Did the mailman just forget to deliver it and it's still sittin in his truck? USPS tracking says it was delivered at 10:22am. Even if he left at my doorstep instead of my mailbox, I would have seen it comin back home at 1130am.

I need my freggin mp3 player, cardio is boring as hell otherwise.
 
on a related news, the mailman is listenin to his *free* mp3 playa while deliverin mail door to door, the job is boring as hell otherwise.

Is the delivery package to big for your mailbox.

If the item is DC; then they may scan it on the delivery truck or when in leaves the PO for delivery.

Contact your local PO for clarificaiton.

I have had items that would not fit in the box get scanned as delivered and then shelved in the PO until I issued a tracking complaint.
 
It should be a small package, a sony e507 isn't that big. I called usps, their 800 track & confirm number. Automated message says my label # is not in the system. I think I'll call my PO.

Well the rep knew the first 4 digits of my tracking number lol. He said, it was scanned at the post office at 10:22am. That means the delivery truck was already off on its route. I guess they don't have a scanner on the truck. Anyways, I am off to the PO.
 
Just came back from the PO. The guy said, the package was scanned on the truck o/w it wouldn't say it was delivered. Coincidentally, it is his newphew who does my route and supposedly he is very careful. Damnit, I lived here for 9 years and first time this has happened.

On a lighter note, the TV was on while waitin in line and some report about a girl gettin abducted while on her way to school. This old lady yells out "PERVERT." I just thought that was funny.

Damnit usps.
