USPS Question regarding internet labels

If I print out a label at USPS.com for Express mail, can I dump it in the mailbox or do I need to put it in the counter drop box?
 
Is this an envelope? You can just drop it in but I believe you must have a postal official fill out the standard express form if you want the money back guarantee. Otherwise, you really have no service deadline -- USPS can take a week to deliver your envelope.
