USPS Priority mail shipping labels online

Buying and printing the shipping label online is pretty handy, but I don't have any sort of scale to get an exact weight. Are they that picky about it? I have a hard time guessing weights between 1-5 pounds, and usually just error on the side of caution.

i noticed they starting selling digital postal scales at my local usps recently.
great for weighing nickel bags and what have you.
