USPS Money Order

Is it a flat fee for a money order or is it a tiered fee?

Need to get a money order to pay rent since I am out of checks and was just curious.

I do think it's a flat fee of $.90 up to $1000, at which point you have to file a special form with the post office...

I know if you go to a grocery store or some place like that it is a set price, but i'm not sure about USPS money order.

up to $500 it's 90 cents.
