USPS Media Mail ?

Lsst week I ordered some books shipped last Thursday by USPS media mail ( with tracking) going from e LA to Atlanta. The USPS web site says 2-9 days . The shipper says 2 to 3 weeks . What is the typical time for this distance .? -thanks

it wont take more then 10 days

i sent a ~50lb package media mail from NY to Cali took it 9 days

It's usually pretty quick, but it gets a low priority so it has more chance of taking a while. I ship media mail a lot and I'd say one out of a dozen pkgs has slowness issues.

I had a small package bearing Pitneybowes shipping label sent First Class Mail from Oregon to Texas. It usually takes 3 to 4 days, but this one took 14 days.

Media Mail SHOULD arrive in about 10-14 days, but don't complain until 30-45 days have elapsed.

Especially going into this time of year it is going to be slower.

Media mail from CA -> WI usually takes about 5-7 days, for me. A place I order books from sends media mail.

Most of the time, Media Mail packages take 6 or less business days from Tennessee to anywhere. Sometimes much faster, but as others have stated, occasionally a package will take a couple of weeks to be delivered. I'm sure it's worse going from coast-to-coast.
