USPS has the worst tracking system EVER

Who wants just DAILY updates instead of realtime updates.

By the time their stupid tracking #s come online, I already have their stuff.

Plus they're not even clear at all. "Accepted" just means its arrived at the local facility and you need to wait another day for the package to show up at your doorstep. That's incredibly dumb.

1) There is a search function that may work.

2) Learn the difference between tracking and Delivery Confirmation

3) In the past 6 years, you have not noticed anything about USPS and their operations <sad>

Just guessing, but are you complaining about the tracking system of their "Delivery Confirmation?"

wow, they should have created a new category for these threads too. And just to reiterate, what tracking are you talking about? They only have delivery confirmation.

Indeed he is.

There's one of these threads every month, each OP thinking they are unique in complaining about a tracking system when they don't erally understand what it is to begin with.

I've never had a problem with real-time. Sometimes I check online and it says "delivered" - I go out to my door and it's there. Wasn't the case a few hours before that when I checked online.

Are you signing up for email / pager alerts ? I think those are different.

He said uSps.

Their Delivery Confirmation service is fine, the problem is that many people think it's just a crappy version of UPS and Fedex's tracking service.

I wish the USPS would do tracking.

that's a big oops on my part. and yeah, the delivery confirmation is really just to protect the sender imo.

I gotta agree. This package im waiting for is one town over, not that far at all, and it says its estimated to be here the 18th. Complete bull, as the latest it will be here is tomorrow, and I fully expect it to be here today.

As others have stated, USPS has no delivery tracking, just confirmation. They are supposed to be testing a tracking system now with rollout in the near future.

Ever? Really worst EVER? Even worse than the French postal system of the mid 1800's? Worse than Greek couriers, really it's the worst EVER?
