You need a VGA cable and for sound you will need to hook it up to a receiver or get some headphones - unless you have a soundcard with RCA inputs.

You could also get an RCA to 3.5mm plug adaptor and plug it into the line in of your PC. The only downside is that you'd have to have your PC on to get sound. I used to do this when I had my Xbox connected to a computer monitor and it was a PITA when I'd turn it on and then remembered that my computer wasn't on and I had to turn it on to get sound, even though I wasn't even using the computer.

There is no other option besides the VGA cable if you want it to look good at all.

Consider this your warning though. It's going to look like crap on your 2005FPW. The Xbox will not output 1680x1050. You're going to be stuck with 1360x768. So you're either going to have to live with an ugly stretched picture, or use 1:1 pixel mapping and lose 1/3 of your screen.

I was running my Xbox360 on my 2007WFP and couldnt take the ugliness. This is the sole reason I dumped the 2007WFP and got a 24" LCD.

Err, I don't believe that mine does, it has a yellow RCA for video, it also doesn't have speakers, so where you gonna get sound?
