Using Windex for washing cars?

yes, it sucks mighty hard for windowss. don't use windex, found that out the hard way many years ago.
You're doing it wrong. Works perfectly for my cars applying with paper towel/terry cloth and drying with microfiber towel, smear free and crystal clear.

What would happen if I used it on the paint of my car?

If I only washed my whole car with windex once, would that do a lot of damage, or just a little? Does it only do a lot of damage if I washed it with windex all the time? Once is just OK, right?

Wash it properly this time, and wax it when you're done.

what kind of dumbass question is this.

First of all why would you use windex to wash you're car.
Second, do you realize how much a bottle of windex costs ? And how many bottles you'd need to wash your car.
Third, Why would you want to risk possibly damaging your paint ?

What if I already waxed it 3 times within the past 2 months? Some people have told me that waxing my car too much is bad. Should I still wax my car after I clean it?

You're a liar and a theif. Don't listen to this man, he sells snake oil.

Since Windex advertises their product as containing Ammonia (read the label), I'd wonder what using ammonia-containing products would do to the paint.....it'd certainly begin to strip off any wax on the car.
