Using virtualbox to mount a USB drive

My base OS is CentOS, and I'm trying to access the USB drive I attached (which CentOS sees) in Windows XP which is running as a VM in VirtualBox. How do I get to the USB drive from within the XP VM?

Edit: I added it to the filter, and it shows up as active, however when I boot up the VM XP, there is no USB device.

I seem to remember when I was comparing Virtual Box to VMware server was that there were certain issues with components not being detected within certain OS's or when a certain OS was the host OS. You may want to try this in the *nix software forum as virtual box is a little more popular among the Linux crowd. but who knows they may look here too...
