Using verizon dsl on linux????

Can someone give me a step by step guide to setting up verizon dsl on linux redhat 9.0? I'm a newb thx in advance. 🙂
 
I'm new to linux as well (Mandrake 9.0) and mine was a synch. I have earthlink dsl and it recognized and did everything for me.. Trial and error my friend
 
it maybe that you need to compile a new KERNAL b/c ur nic is not getting used right;0 and im not the boy to help w/ this.
 
i have done it many times, just configure your nic right and set it up as DHCP and linux will handle the rest.

i donno anything about linux lol... i setup the ethernet connection and everything at bootup it said ppp connection booted up but i can't access any websites. btw do i need a dailer or something?
