using tv as monitor (sometimes), how to stretch screen?

sometimes i use my 32' wega as my monitor. but about 2 inch on the sides and top are just black. so how can i stretch the screen like on a regular monitor?

i use a msi geforce 2 400 mx video card (video out)

Its ususally built into the drivers and available on the advanged display properties control panel. I think there may be a 3rd-party application that works with the most common tv-out chipsets to control things like this but im not sure off the top of my head. A google search should turn it up.

Do a search for an app called "TVTool"
just fyi, when you use a tv you'll be limited to lower resolutions and will not have as good quality as you'd get on a computer monitor. Most people just use it for divx/dvd output, rather than regular computing.

i realize the resolution is lower, but for divx and some games the 32' wega can't be beat.
actuallything the tv makes some games look better

i was very skeptical of s-video out of these cards...
but i just hooked up my radeon LE 32mb DDR VO to my 29" Panasonic...
and i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of divx on the screen.

much better than what i expected.
