I have this ageing Gateway G6-180 at my work(and thank god we are not using gateways for our worksations). It is an Pentium Pro 180 system. Unfortunatly I cannot determine the MB type, but the PCI chipset is a SB82441FX. Well it is dead, but the case looks like an ATX case. I have convinced my boss to allow me to gut the thing and put in a new MB and proc. Now to me the case LOOKS like an ATX, but I am unsure and I would look pretty stupid to my boss ordering these parts only to find out that I cannot use the case! Now I realize that I could go out and spend another $30-50 on a case but the whole point here is to use exsisting parts.
Would anyone know if the cases that Gateway used for their G6-180 line are ATX cases? Was thinking of putting in an ASUS CUSL2 or MSI 815e Pro and a PIII 700. This of course is a prelude to myself getting either board for home, after many an hour at work(and getting paid also)messing with it.
Anyway, thanks for any info given,
Twisk
