You don't have a USB to PS2 adapter? I have like 6 spare ones lying around.

I gave my last one to my brother. And I have a bunch of peripherals that are just lying around now...🙁

Tab, Alt, ctrl, and the F buttons are your friend.

Yup, the tab key is being used often now

The problem I have is that all my usb ports are dead -- that's why I'm using the numeric keypad.

Download MozillaFirebird, then you can just type in the links you want to visit using the keyboard. So if I was on the main Off Topic listing and wanted to view this thread, I would just start typinh "using the" and it would go through the page until it finds that text in a link, then hit Enter and it will load that link 🙂

I use it a lot when I forget to charge the batteries in my mouse

Confused

Yah some cheapskates use rechargable batteries that last a couple of hours at most, unlike my nice duracell m3 thingys that last a few months 😛

True, but that only fixes one problem

My scanner, gamepad, ti graphing calculator link, webcam and printer all use usb. well, the printer can be resolved with the parallel port, but the rest...

Purchase a PCI USB controller card? They're pretty cheap (~$20).
