Using SATA CF adapter as a card reader.

A frined of mine who runs a studio is sick of slow transfer speed of USB readers. He asked for the fastest possible way and all I could think wasthis.
The problem is... I don't know how reliable it is or if there's any downside with it. If it works just like how CF card readers work, it'd be the perfect solution, I think. Does anyone know anything about it?

Basically, it is a CF reader/writer connected via SATA. It would be even nicer if it were a portable device with an eSATA connection. The SATA throughput is significantly faster than USB 2 or Firewire.

The price is very good, and I'd say it's worth a shot. As the spec says, the actual throughput is SATA, but limited by the CF's internal speed.
