Using RAID and regular IDE at same time

I have an ABIT KT7-RAID MoBo. I have (3) 30Gb HDD's. Is it possible to set up a RAID configuration and still access the remaining 30 Gb on the regular IDE?

Let me tell you what's going on.......The BIOS recognizes the RAID setup. But it always defaults to the non-RAID drive (this drive has my old w2k system which I am currently using until I can figure this thing out). Then Windows 2000 does not see the RAID drives (they've been formatted and partitioned) after booting up.

This is what I want to happen. I'd like to setup a dual boot (W2K & Win98) on the RAID setup. I also want to set up the 3rd drive (regular IDE) as the secondary drive.

This doesn't seem very hard at all. I just can't figure this one out. By the way, I still consider myself a newbie to RAID & MoBo configurations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Set the BIOS to boot from SCSI if you want the RAID array to be "first".

And, if you can't see your stripe from Windows, has windows formatted and partitioned it? There's more to it than the RAID's BIOS. That's not formatting, it's just forming the array. Windows also needs drivers for thr RAID card (or onboard chip) installed.
