using psu from while another computer is on

Hey all, my current psu isn't cutting it for my current setup. I plan on getting a new one, but until then I can't really do anything with my new vid card. So i came up with an idea.

As long as my older PC (with a 350w psu) is turned on, will it transfer power to my bfg 6800 oc graphics card? the other pc has nothing in it cept some ram and the cpu.
 
i don't think there is any reason why that wouldn't work... In essence, no different than a dual PSU rig i suppose.
