Using PS2 USB hardware with PC?

Is it possible to use PS2 USB peripherals on a PC? I was thinking of buying a racing wheel for GT4, but they're all kinda pricy (anybody know a good cheap one?).

I figured if I could buy one that I could use on my computer, it'd make it a little more worth it.
 
Well, I've used a Datel USB ethernet adaptor and a USB hub, both branded for the PS2, with a standard PC and they worked fine. Been thinking of picking up a USB headset and doing the same thing, since the PS2 ones seem to be cheaper than the PC ones, for some reason.
