The proxy is a "middle man" in that you communicate directly to the proxy and the proxy then initiates the session ot the server.

Hi Spidey. Just bumped into this: Stopping Malware That Travels Through SSL Connections. Seems that even SSL is not safe if the proxy has the above product. :sun:
