using programs installed on a seperate operating system

my operating system ceased to work, so i installed a seperate Os on the same Hdd, and i still have a bunch of programs on the win2k OS, but the wont let me run them from the new XP os. is there some sort of way, or utility for doing this?

Nope. At least not that I am aware of.

Modern Windows apps require information stored in the registry in order to work properly. If you have new Windows OS, new registry and thus all that information is lost.

Some may work, but will need to be reconfigured.

Others will need to be completely reinstalled.
