Using PC3200 DDR RAM with e6600?

I'm going to sell my Athlon64 system and stay with my e6600.
On the Athlon64 rig I got Corsair CL2 PC3200 PRO sticks (1GBx2, those with the LED's) which I remember were extremely expensive when I bought them.

On the Core 2duo I have XMS2 (I think the cheap ones) PC5300.
Can I use the PC3200 on the Core 2duo?

Thanks.

The Motherboard is ECS P965T-A

Will it perform better if I can use them? Since it's low latency

ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2

This board can use C2D & C2Q (not the 45nm chips but your q6600 should be fine) and also has DDR memory sockets.

But I have a feeling you're asking if you can just reuse your expensive DDR on your current motherboard, and the answer (unless you happen to have that board already) is no.

I would suggest selling the memory separate from the rest of the system to maximize the price (just buy some cheap DDR to throw in the A64 box before selling it).
