Using on board video to drive secondary monitor

I am getting ready to buy a 9800pro and was curious if I can use my on board / integrated video processor (Inter Extreme2) to drive a secondary display. I know the 9800pro supports dual monitors, but I was thinking if I could use the onboard video for a secondary display then it would perhaps increase performance on the 9800p and the primary display.

Thanks,

JJ

Short answer - No.

The nature of the Intel integrated "graphics" is such that it fully disables itself when a real graphics card is present. Some chipsets will allow onboard+PCI video, and the Radeon 9100IGP allows onboard+AGP, but the onboard is still primary IIRC. Besides, it wouldn't improve the performance of the Radeon any - if anything, it would slow it down by having both adaptors being separately driven.
