Using old router as access point/bridge

I've got an old D-link DI-524 sitting around that I want to try and use as an access point or bridge, not sure which term fits here.

Basically, my router is on one side of the room (Netgear Wndr3300) and my xbox 360 is on the other side, what I'd like to do is set it up that I can connect via Ethernet cable my 360 and the D-link and have them access the web/Live. Is this possible, and how would I go about doing it?

Or am I better off getting the 360 Wifi adapter, even though I hate to spend 80 bucks on an overpriced usb adapter.
 
Sorry, but the D-Link DI-524 can not act as a Wireless bridge.

You other Router is?

Configure your D-Link router to connect to the ISP. Flash your Netgear router to run DD-WRT in Client Bridge mode. Move it to the other side of the room by the XBox 360 and connect the XBox 360 to it.

Ok gotcha, basically backwards of what I was initially wanting to do. D-link as main router, and Netgear as the Bridge. Thank you!
