Using OEM 8800gts. How do i determine the Vendor?

The card has the refrence nvidia sticker on it. I checked the card and all the numbers refrence back to Nvidia. Could this card be just straight from Nvidia?

Reason why i ask, i want to Flash the Bios to an Overclocked version.

I loaded up Rivaturner but no where on the reports list the vendor.

Only ones that refrence Nvidia. There is like 5 small stickers with part numbers on them but all those numbers point back to nvidia and no vendor.

Wait a second...
You want to flash the BIOS to an overclocked one?

Why do you want to do that and take that risk?
Just overclock the board like everyone else does with rivatuner, no new BIOS needed.

Is there some BIOS out there that actually unlocks something in the 8800 GTS that I haven't heard about?

Some people like it so they don't have to keep using software to do it. Or if they reformat their comp, they would have to do it. As well as if they ever take the card to another machine, etc...
