using newest chipset drivers for older chipsets?

should i or shouldn't i?? right now i use via 4.43 for both my kt133 and km266 chipsets. any point to use the latest or does it only improve recent chipsets?? can there be a chance of degraded performance for older chipsets?
 
You probably won't gain *too* much performance, but you probably won't lose any either. If you have XP create a restore point before and if you don't like it just go back. It may fix bugs or conflicts that have come up since the last release so go for it!
