Guys,U already know i am going to buy tablet very soon.Which could be Samsung tablet 7 inch or Kindle Fire or Nexus(May BE) .Reading some Chinese tablets review this questions arise in my mind. Some of there statements make me confused. So i am asking. For ur kind info MY main purpose of buying tablet is using internet through connecting modem by OTG or cable any way.My Wimax modem does not have any software manager in to run internet. It automatically gets connected. 1)Is there any relation with rock chipset based tablet to run internet? 2)If i root my Android OS then will i able to use internet by wimax modem? In any tablet is it possible?

I'm a bit confused by what you are asking.

You want to buy a tablet and then connect this tablet to a WiMax modem via a cable or USB OTG?

In general, my guess to the answer is no, because you'd need the drivers for the USB connection to the Wimax modem and - usually - driver support for devices that are not normally hooked up to Android devices don't have the correct driver support. I'd guess that you could get a Windows 8 based tablet (not Windows RT, the real Windows 8) and then do what you are proposing. Something like an Acer Iconia W510.

Alternatively, you need to get the WiMax modem to plug into something that can allow connects to it via WiFi.
