im about to get a gaming rig hopefully soon.....i wanted to know if i could save money by using my laptop LCD as my monitor i have a dell 6000 with a wsxga screen so thats a good screen...some one please help....
if you can and are ready to disassemble it then i don't see why it's not possible, dunno if it's possible without disassembling the screen aka the laptop screen:frown:
Functionally impossible, unfortunately. There are software packages that allow you to use a second computer as a screen over a network; but those are unsuitable for demanding applications, like video or games.
This has been asked many time (once by me) and the answer continutes to be no. The laptop LCD screens do not use the same connections as regular LCD screens. Without buying a $150 LCD card (not video card), you cannot even begin to connect this to a regular computer.
