Using my extra rig as a web page server

I heard that I can use my win2k box to serve web pages that anyone can look at... I have a seperate static IP for this (I have no sensitive data on this extra rig so security is of little concern) and would like to start tinkering with HTML and the different web technologies. I could just go to a free service for that, but would like to be true to my geekness and run the thing out of my room. Suggestions?

get yourself a free dynamic dns client...www.dynu.com offers one. That will allow you to use a DNS name rather than the IP number as the web address.

Then install IIS on win2k and set it up for webserving...its a brezze. The help file included with win2k is very good, as is the MS knowledge base.

Looks cool... thanks! So is the built in web serving tools in win2k the best for a begginer to use?
